About Dr. Diana Salzmann
Dr. Diana Salzmann is a graduate of the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, and taught motion palpation, extremity and sports injuries adjusting at Life Chiropractic College. For 24 years, Dr. Salzmann has practiced in the Atlanta area.
During that time, she came to the realization that most of her clients suffer from preventable ailments. The common denominator causing people to seek chiropractic care (other than trauma caused by accidents) is pain and suffering caused by a general a lack of fitness. Instead of treating the symptoms, Dr. Salzmann wanted to address the underlying cause of most of her clients’ pain and suffering.
A lifelong believer in the benefits of physical fitness (Jack LaLane has been her hero since she was 6), Dr. Salzmann recommended stretching and exercise for her patients, but knew they needed more. To truly help people avoid pain and reduced physical activity levels, she would need to help them develop strength and flexibility. Though already an expert in the mechanics of the human body, Dr. Salzmann knew she needed to go back to school to learn how to train her clients to become fit.
Having managed a gym while in college, Dr. Salzmann knew that strength training is critical, but that most people lack the knowledge to lift weights correctly, resulting in serious injuries over time. She enrolled in the International Sports Sciences Association program and is now an ISSA certified fitness trainer.
After her first Pilates class, Dr. Salzmann realized that this exercise focused on the critical, core muscles needed to prevent most of the back injuries she saw in her clients. She immediately signed up for courses and received the extensive training necessary to become certified in Pilates Rehabilitation and Allegro Pilates – a unique skill set that makes her a valued member of the Dynamic Spine and Sports Therapy team.

About Dr. Zachary Scoville DC, MS, CCSP
Dr. Zachary Scoville began his journey into the chiropractic field when he was in high school. Being a varsity athlete in 3 different sports demanded a lot of his body. He discovered chiropractic care during this time in which he visited a chiropractor weekly which helped him reach his peak level of performance. Dr. Scoville carried his passion for athletics and caring for the human body into undergraduate college where he graduated from Adrian College in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. Immediately following his graduation, Dr Scoville began classes at Life University in the Doctor of Chiropractic program. After graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014, Dr. Scoville knew that his passion for caring for the athletic community had grown even greater. This gave Dr. Scoville the drive to solidify his passion for caring for athletes by pushing him to complete his Master’s Degree in Chiropractic Sports Science from Life University in 2015.
During the time he was completing his Master’s Degree, Dr. Scoville was hired by Life University to work in the Sports Science Institute. During this time he was also selected as the sole chiropractor for the D1A USA Rugby National Championship game. These combined experiences allowed him to gain valuable knowledge and experience in caring for and managing the complex injuries that athletes are faced with throughout their athletic career. Dr. Scoville specializes in athletic injuries. Certified as Chiropractic Sports Physician and currently becoming a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner, Dr. Scoville utilizes a form of assessment on each athlete that tests their muscle control via the nervous system both before and after his adjustments. This gives the athlete real time feedback of the positive changes that are occurring within their nervous systems control of their muscles. This allows the patient to feel the immediate increase in both strength and speed of their muscular response globally. He then focuses his assessment to any areas of the body which still contain inefficiencies, caring for them from a local stand point. This is where Dr. Scoville utilizes his expertise in extremity adjusting and myofascial release to help the athlete’s body recovery and prepare itself for peak physical performance. Dr. Scoville is also certified in Active Release Techniques ( A.R.T) and is a certified RockTape doctor. Dr. Scoville’s expertise and practice techniques have led him to gain the trust of professional athletes ranging from the top contenders at the crossfit games to professional race car drivers.
About Dr. Kaitlyn Van Strien
Dr. Kaitlyn Van Strien is a graduate of Life University Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA, graduating Summa Cum Laude in her class. In 2011, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Professions from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Van Strien grew up in Stevensville, a small beach town located in Southwest Michigan. For as long as she can remember while growing up, she played for the Athletic Jaier Futbol Club, as well as the Southwest Michigan Soccer Club, both competitive travel soccer teams. She also played for her high school Varsity soccer and volleyball teams.
Having played sports her entire life, Dr. Van Strien has a passion for working out and remaining active. Movement is very important to her and she believes it is detrimental to your health, both physically and mentally. She relates this lifestyle philosophy to her chiropractic technique by addressing areas of the spine, as well as extremities, which are not properly moving or are “stuck/subluxated”. By delivering a chiropractic adjustment to the “stuck/subluxated” area, she is able to restore motion into that specific area, which in turn allows the entire body to properly move and function as a whole.
Dr. Van Strien also believes in addressing the soft tissue surrounding and connecting each subluxated area. She is ART (Active Release Technique) certified and utilizes this technique along with chiropractic adjustments, which sets her apart from several other chiropractors. The basic premise behind ART is simple, just not easy. It’s a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique created by Dr. P. Michael Leahy, which shortens the tissue, applies a contact tension, then lengthens the tissue or makes it slide relative to the adjacent tissue. This process reestablishes proper motions between muscle and fascia while reducing fibrous adhesions. There are over 500 specific moves which are unique to ART, allowing the provider to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient, and make fast permanent changes to every tissue in the body.
Outside of chiropractic, Dr. Van Strien volunteers at a local yoga studio and takes hot yoga classes there whenever possible. She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, kayaking, and snowboarding. Animals are a huge love of hers; she has a rescue Plott Hound named Cooper, and plans to complete additional schooling for animal adjusting so she can deliver chiropractic care to animals as well.
