Dr. Drew Allison has been a chiropractic patient since he was thirteen years old when he experienced severe low back pain while playing baseball. It was his first exposure to chiropractic, and it changed his life. Knowing that he wanted to become a chiropractor, Dr. Drew majored in exercise science at Auburn University. Upon graduation from Auburn, he enrolled at Life University and graduated cum laude in 2015.
Dr. Drew grew up playing several sports, but eventually settled on baseball as his true love. He has a background in pitching and loves working with baseball players as well as athletes of all varieties. Dr. Drew’s specialty is the treatment and management of sports injuries, as well as the traditional spine and disc injuries with which a chiropractor often comes in contact. He has taken many continuing education hours in extremity adjusting and the treatment of soft tissue sprains and strains. He is full-body certified in Active Release Technique and an M1 level Graston Technique provider. He is also certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, which helps him diagnose more accurately the true cause of a patient’s pain.
In his spare time Dr. Drew enjoys CrossFit at his local box, road biking, mountain biking, and running. He is also a devoted Auburn Tiger and can be found cheering on his team in just about every sport.
He is married to wife Kelsey and loves spending time with her and trying out new foods in the city. Together they live in the Riverside neighborhood of West Midtown Atlanta.
